About brush crushh, FORMERLY known as uptown art, Denville and westwood

Brush Crushh is a “social art experience” where our friendly artists help you to paint in a relaxed group setting.  You will learn some painting techniques, brush handling, color mixing, blending, and more while you create your own masterpiece.  Each class is instructor led, color by color, brush by brush.

Each class will emphasize the techniques needed to complete that image. Everyone paints the same image, but at Brush Crushh we encourage you to make it your own.  Alter your colors or add personal touches.  

We paint with acrylic paint which is very forgiving. It blends well wet, covers when dry, and mistakes can be corrected easily. Our “Goof Proof” guarantee lets you retouch your paintings if you see a problem after you get home. If your not happy with your painting, we will trade you for one of ours. You will leave with a painting you love.

You may bring snacks and drinks to enhance the social aspects of the evening.  We provide stemware, ice and openers for our wine drinks. Beer drinkers get beer mugs and a refrigerator to keep their libations chilled. (Shared items temporarily suspended for Covid.)

We work on a variety of canvas sizes, wooden boards, wooden pallets, glass, tote bags, and more.

Our studios are engineered to raise the bar in terms of space, comfort, visibility, and outcome.  We use comfortable height adjustable seating, height adjustable easels, and Princeton brushes.  Every seat is well lit. Thanks to multiple flat screen TV’s that are zoomed into the artists canvas, every seat is an excellent seat. We also display a digital version of the painting, so we can zoom in on the details. Details matter. We even thought of your purses, and provide dedicated purse parking that is safe from the paint, and visible to you.
