Painting is one of those rare activities that everyone, at any age, or skill level can do. It’s a level playing field for all. We challenge everyone to step up, get outside their comfort zone, and learn some new tricks.
We have hosted Bankers, Accountants, Police Chiefs, Medical Offices, and Hair Salons. Corporate team builders are fun, affordable, and effective!
Choose a painting from our database, or create one of your own. Work on your own painting, or pass them around. Give us a call so we can explore your options together! Supplies can be shipped to virtually anywhere, so this is a great Zoom event!
At Home Kits
We can ship you a full kit to paint on your own time or in a Zoom class with loved ones from around the world. Reach out about group rates and our quick delivery to your front door.
Virtual “Zoom” Parties
We are happy to help you take your party virtual. Our “Zoom” platform is universally known and utilized for classes, parties, team builders and more. We can host up to 100 participants and supplies can be picked up or shipped individually.

Public Classes
Our public calendar showcases a wide array of events that will appeal to kids, families, couples, and singles. Choose the painting you want to paint and sign up right online. Public classes are made up of singles, couples on a date night, and groups who sit together within the larger group. Online reservations are required as we partner with different restaurants and venues in New Jersey and Florida.
Adult Painting Parties
We can host any kind of party. Family parties. Sweet 16. Anniversary. Going Away. Welcome Home. Girls Night Out. Kindergarten Moms. You name it, we can do it.
Throw yourself, or someone you love, a memorable birthday party. You choose the painting for the group, your favorite venue or restaurant and the menu! Work with our incredibly talented restaurant partners to create the perfect event. A two hour painting turns into a three hour party, so there is plenty of time to socialize!
Fundraisers
Let us host your next fundraiser! We can help you create a memorable and successful event. Your charity makes money on each seat sold. You can also run a tricky tray, a 50/50 raffle, or whatever you want to add to the experience.

Kids Birthday Parties
Kids of all ages really enjoy their painting parties. The birthday child chooses the painting for the class. Invite friends and family, bring the cake, some snacks, order pizza, whatever you like.
We work the painting and the party into a seamless 2 hour fun event. Everyone leaves with the one of a kind party favor they have created!
COVID NOTE: We suggest individual cupcakes as opposed to a single community cake. Blowing out candles is definitely not advised these days!
Off Site Events
We are equipped to handle all kinds of off site events from 10 to 100 people. We have created events at community clubs, bowling alleys, country clubs, restaurants, lodges, corporate headquarters and sporting arenas. We have held events at Ruths Chris Steakhouse, Time Warner in NYC, and at the Prudential Center for the NJ Devils just to name a few. Give us a call with your ideas and lets make it happen! We can accommodate physical offsite events in Northern NJ, lower NY, and NYC from our Denville NJ location.
Date Night
Date Night with us is always a special night out. While we know the ladies love to sip and paint, it is often a new experience for the guys. The guys tend to reconnect with their inner artist, relax, and unwind. They completely forget about work and focus on their painting. It’s always the guys who go home having had a better time than they ever thought possible. You have to try this.
Date night options include:
One Image: Split the image into two halves and create a diptych- a two panel set. Work together on both pieces for a unified look, or paint each one individually. You will leave with two canvases that each hold half the overall painting.
Two Images: Paint your own canvas and make it a competition. Sign the back of the canvas and challenge house guests to guess who painted each one.
Paint Your Pet
Show the world how much your furry (or non furry) friend means to you by creating a lasting custom pet painting! Simply sign up for the class and submit your best (well lit and perhaps staged) photo by email to julie@brushcrushh.com and an artist will masterfully pre-sketch your four legged (or winged) friend on canvas so that you can attend the class and paint your pet in your own style!
Over the years we have painted hundreds of dogs, cats, bunnies, horses, hamsters, rats, birds, snakes, and yes…a unicorn!

Bridal Shower & Bachelorette Parties
This is a bridal event you can take Grandma to.
The bride-to-be chooses an image that speaks to her. A beach where they got engaged, the Eiffel Tower, a lighthouse, or even a custom painting we create for her.
Everyone leaves with a lovely keepsake they created.
Baby Showers
When a baby is on the way, the parents aren’t the only ones that get excited. Odds are that the future grandparents, aunts and uncles, cousins, friends, and other loved ones will also be eager to welcome the newest member of the family!
Bring everyone together to paint something meaningful to mom and dad, or decorate the baby’s new nursery with a theme: safari, teddy bears, underwater, or let us create a custom painting just for you and your group!
Choose classic wall art or try something new like tote bags, bibs, or custom onesies for those monthly photo updates!
Wooden Signs, Boards, & Pallets
At Uptown Art, we do wood right! We build all of our wooden boards, signs, and pallets out of real wood in our own wood shop. Every piece is different, so your piece is truly a one of a kind. Enjoy and enhance the grain, knots, and saw cuts as you stain your background. Customize your sayings, and your colors. Add real artwork, aided by our talented artists. There is nothing “cookie cutter” about of wooden projects, and nobody will think you bought it at a big box store.
Wine Glass Painting
Your favorite wine glass should be a reflection of you! Our wine glass classes are not step by step, but rather an aided workshop where creativity flourishes, and unique wine glasses are created. We provide the proper paint, brushes, ideas, and curing instructions. Choose two or four glasses, red or white. Maybe a beer mug or mason jar. All you need to bring is your creativity.
Themed Events
TRIVIA NIGHTS: We have hosted many themed events such as Harry Potter Trivia Night, Disney Trivia, Friends Trivia, The Office Trivia, and Stranger Things Trivia. Each event features an image that is inspired by the original themes.
ADVANCED CLASSES: We have also done advanced classes where 6-8 participants paint a 30 x 40 canvas over the course of two or three evenings. We go deeper into the instruction and give you more personalized instruction.
